What is Design Build?

Design-Build is a construction delivery method, where one party performs both the architectural/engineering and construction under one single contract. There is a single point of contact for both the design and construction phases of a project. Additionally, one party holds the responsibility and contractual risk for each aspect of the build. That party – the design-builder – manages all contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and material providers.
